Double Slant Combo (4-Wide)
The Double Slant Combo play is a great play to run in a short yardage situation if you have Wide Receivers who can run crisp routes. By making a clean cut to the inside, there will be a window of opportunity for the Quarterback to deliver the ball into the chest of the WR.
This play can also be used as a quick hitting play in the beginning of the game if the defense is playing far off the line of scrimmage. If the defense starts creeping up to guard against the short slant route, then hit them over the top by calling the Slant-and-Up Combo play.
